Expansion Shell Bail Type
Advantages

Description
- Expansion shells serve to mechanically anchor rock bolts or rock studs within holes drilled in the rock.
- Expansion shells are supplied screwed on the end of the rock tendon and inserted into the hole. When tension is applied to the tendon the tapered plug within the shells forces the leaves to move outwards, thus wedging them against the wall of the borehole. This provides a points anchor for the installation.

- Know the maximum and minimum expansion of the Shell itself
