Standard Splice – Type B (Assembly)

Use in the application of large-sized long bars (for slip form, column, post applied in the size) Where the rebar can be rotated but may be difficult to do so.

RECLAIMED TYPE OF COUPLER

Step 1 - Position the first stage threaded rebar

  • The reservation and end cap is correctly fitted.

Step 2 - Clear the stage rebar threaded end

  • Remove the coupler cap from the first stage bar and the thread end protector from the continuation rebar.

  • Flush the stage rebar threaded end.

Step 3 - Position the continuation threaded rebar

  • We extend the rebar thread at one side to allow the coupler screw on. The rebar end are placed against each other and the coupler rotated onto the standard thread to form the connection.

Step 4 - Connect the existing threaded rebar by rotating the coupler

  • Turn the coupler onto the standard thread to complete the assembly and tighten with a wrench.
